B&B LE CORONE

What to do at Bed&Breakfast Le Corone in Valpolicella

TREKKING ON HORSEBACK in summer

There are many paths to take, staying at an altitude of 800m and going to visit the jewels of the territory, like San Giorgio, Monte, The Santuario delle Salette in Fumane, the Molina waterfalls, etc. or going a bit higher to reach 1000/1500m, up to the historic borders with Trentino Alto Adige through the Lessini Mountain plateau.

For clients who wish (only in summer), we organise multiple day horseback treks in the Lessinia Mountains, overnighting in stone huts, once the simple refuges of shepherds, now transformed into rural tourist reception locations. Here, guests can taste typical local delicacies, cooked on the hearth of the hut in front of the large table where all the guests of the structure join together.

Another fantastic unique experience is the rider’s bivouac (summer only): a multiple day trekking in which the overnight stay is organized for the outdoors, sleeping in tents, in the centre of magnificent glades and forests. The dinner will be cooked over a fire, as in the past, and the evening proceeds with songs and guitar music well into the night, to savour the deep connection that united horse and rider during the herding of animals in the past.
